My Neighbor Totoro This movie is a Japanese animation for kids. It is about a big round soft creature and two girls. It's a wonderful story. It's good clean fun (for those who are sick of the good vs. evil and romance storylines of Disney movies). It has good values and lots of imaginative creativity. The movie has a relaxed, peaceful pace but is never boring. I love to watch this over and over with my kids.

Kiki's Delivery Service This movie is also a Japanese animation for kids. I think it's my favorite. I can (and have) watch it over and over again, day in day out and still love it. Kiki is such a great character, you can't help but love her. Again, this movie has good values and is not like Disney movies. It's good clean fun.

Sense and Sensibility I was living with someone who would watch this movie anytime she needed to relax - just for the beauty of the images, costumes, time period etc. She got me addicted too. For us girls who are romantics at heart - this is a must (along with Anne of Green Gables). |

Enemy of the State I'm rarely into action movies and I rarely watch a movie twice in a row, but this movie is unbelievably amazing. I'm not quite sure what it is but I really love this movie. You must see it. |

William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet The intensity of this movie reflects the intensity of the passion Shakespeare was trying to write about. There's a certain style to this movie that I liked. I appreciate the creativity with which they turned this into a modern version of the story while keeping to the original words.
