Two days after Garry and his family arrived in California,
we drove down to Monterey together.

Before heading south, we stopped at our favourite grocery store
"Whole Foods", bought tons of amazing food and had a great picnic.

Monterey is one of the most scenic places along the California coast.

 

The kids had tons of fun throwing rocks into the ocean.
It was amazing to see their fascination with this
beautiful and unique ocean environment.

The water was cold but they still ventured in.

An excellent prelude to the amazing
jellyfish exhibition at the Monterey Bay Aqarium.
